CHRISTMAS AROUND THE WORLD WITH NOAH'S ARK What do you think of when someone mentions the Christmas season? Trees decorated with lights, presents neatly wrapped under them and stories of a jolly man in a red suit wiggling down your chimney to leave you gifts. These are things we believe here in America, but things are different in other countries. So this holiday season, we decided to share the customs and rituals of other countries with our students. Our teachers have circled the globe choosing the different countries from sunny Australia, to the frozen land of the Ukraine, hitting the countries of Britain, Czech Republic, South Africa, Sweden, Holland, Japan, Germany, Mexico, Norway, Finland and France as well. The students have enjoyed learning how Christmas isn't always the same, but it still has one thing in common no matter where you live. It's about being with the ones you love. So from all of us here at Noah's Ark we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.     |
